Sara is a research coordinator at Peabody, having been working for the past 3 years on a study to develop a computer adaptive assessment of word reasoning and morphological awareness for middle school students. Before joining Peabody, she worked in quality improvement research at Vanderbilt Medical Center on a variety of projects to improve care for pediatric patients.

Prior to her return to Nashville and work with Vanderbilt, Sara lived and worked in several countries in Asia and South America. She taught at schools in both Japan and Korea, and worked at the British Council in Caracas, Venezuela, as a teacher of English to speakers of other languages and as an IELTS examiner. Sara has a degree in Psychology and Art History from Rice University.
