Holland White is a Ph.D. student in the Department of Teaching, Learning, and Diversity at Vanderbilt University, under Dr. Robert Jimenez’s advisement. After receiving her M.Ed. at the University of Texas at Austin in Language and Literacy, she taught for several years as a high school ELA teacher in a Texas public school comprised of a majority of English language learners. She enjoys working with multilingual students to help them discover and build on the assets they bring to the language arts classroom.
